KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY GAMES EVERYONE WILL LOVE!

Get ready to discover birthday party games for kids that can easily adapt to any party theme, are perfect for small or large groups and dial the Sky Zone party fun all the way up. Here are some games for kids birthday party ideas we hope you’ll love as much as we do.

Simon Says “You’ll Love This Game”

Give the king of all kids birthday party games a Sky Zone spin! Start by designating a “Simon” to lead the game. This could be a party goer or a parent while the rest of the party crew await orders on the wall-to-wall trampolines, or other attractions. “Simon” will shout out actions prefaced by the words “Simon says.” These can be anything you want or you could even get creative and tailor them to your party theme if you have one. You could shout things like “Simon says jump high!” “Simon says land on your knees” “Simon says slam dunk” etc. Every so often Simon should say an action without “Simon says” and if anyone does that action, they’re out! This game is super fun for all ages.

Dance Battle!

Prepare to get movin’ and groovin’! In this game, party pals will challenge each other to the ultimate freestyle dance battle. This can either be done one vs one or in teams depending on your party size. Parents can get in on the fun too and show off their moves! Start by timing 20 seconds of music you can’t help but dance to and then let the free flying dance battle begin! Stop the timer and let the kids decide who won that round. The winners will move on to the next round until there are only two people or groups left and then the final dance battle will determine the winner. Good thing Sky Zone loves to play all the jams on the main park speakers all day, making this one of the best games for kids birthday party celebrations!

The Floor is Lava

This is one of the hottest birthday party games for kids of all ages and playing it on trampolines only boosts the excitement! While the partiers are playing around the park, a parent or party goer shouts “THE FLOOR IS LAVA!!” And then counts to five out loud. At the end of five seconds, everyone has to have their feet off of the trampolines or they’re out. With so many different attractions around the park it will be so cool to see the kids get creative with this one!

Trick Shot H.O.R.S.E

If you’re looking for a supremely cool spin on games for a kids’ birthday party then look no further. You’ve never seen a game of H.O.R.S.E quite like this before! Give a shot contest a trick shot twist and start by having a party guest do a trick shot on the Air Court. When someone makes the shot the next friend has to repeat the same trick shot. If they miss, they get a letter. Once someone has all the letters, they’re out. Feel free to choose any word you want! You could even pick a word that matches your party theme to keep things nice and festive. This game is ideal with smaller groups so if you have a larger party you could break the group up into some smaller ones- parents included!

Birthday Blast-off

Get out the tape measurer for this one and prepare to blast birthday party games for kids into orbit! First, have all the party pals line up at the Mega Launch Slide and then one-by-one they’ll launch off and catch some sweet air. A parent can be waiting to measure their distance and whoever blasts off the farthest wins! There are different attractions at every Sky Zone, so visit your local Sky Zone online or in-person to see if they have a Mega Launch Slide or something similar.

Ninja Warriors

If your local Sky Zone has a Ninja Warrior Course, this is a perfect opportunity for a timed Warrior Course game. Start the clocks and whoever completes the course the fastest wins. Kids birthday party games like this are exactly what Sky Zone was made for!

Last Kid Standing

This kids birthday party game is as simple as the name suggests. Have the kids jump, run, spin, zip and fly as long as they can without stopping. Whoever lasts the longest or is still going after a determined period of time is the winner. This is perfect for a particularly energetic group.

Ultimate Keepy Uppy

This game is perfect for big kids and little ones too and will keep them laughing and moving. All you need is a balloon and some determination! The point of the game is to keep the balloon in the air no matter what! If it hits the ground it’s game over. Bouncing on the trampoline adds an added layer of awesome to this one. Parents, get in there too and save the day!

Zero G Dodgeball

We all know dodgeball, but dodgeball on wall-to-wall trampolines is what birthday party games for kids dreams are made of! Start by splitting the party up into two teams with a bunch of balls in a line between them. When the game starts everyone tries to grab a ball and then launches the ball at their opponents. If they successfully make contact (below the head) without the ball being caught, that player is out. If they catch the ball- the person who threw it is out and if they miss, the ball is fair play to pick up and throw. The last one standing wins!

Trick Telephone

Hello? Is it the greatest game of telephone you’re looking for? This game is perfect for big groups, but works with smaller ones too. To play, everyone stands in a line on the trampoline. A person on one end starts by doing a trick and then it moves down the line to the next person who has to do the same trick the person (or people) before them did and add their own. If someone misses a trick or doesn’t land it, they’re out. This is gonna be a fun one for kids of any age.

Bounce Wars

1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a bounce war! In this silly game the kids and parents will all bounce around and then someone will say “1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a bounce war” and everyone has to bounce on their bum and land back on their feet. If someone doesn’t bounce or land back on their feet, they’re out. This game can be modified to other body parts too like knees and hands and is great for kids of all ages.
