Weekly Camp Themes
SkyCamp offers kids time for free play throughout our park, but we also focus campers’ activities each day with structured time around a central theme. Check out each week’s themes and find out what summer fun awaits your camper! Camp hours are 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday, with the option to stay until 6pm (free for members; $10 / hour for non-members).
Slime (week of July 7th)
Our first week of camp, we’ll be experimenting and playing with SLIME! Each day, we’ll offer different themed activities focusing on imaginative, sensory, and active play.
Travel (week of July 21st)
Campers will create their own passports, simulate flights with layovers, and learn about places that interest them. If your child is excited about an upcoming trip, this is the week you won’t want them to miss!
Superhero (week of August 4th)
We love to encourage campers to dream big. Campers will role-play and learn about how simple actions, like picking up litter or being kind to animals, can turn each one of them into everyday superheroes.
Down on the Farm (week of August 18th)
Animal lovers will have an opportunity to learn more about life on local farms. Camp counselors will lead kids in hands-on crafts, songs, and activities that teach them about animals and the humans who care for them.
LEGO (week of July 14th)
We’re bringing back one of SkyCamp’s most popular themes: LEGO! Bring imaginary worlds to life with both structured and free play that is designed to stoke creativity and long-term planning.
Pirates and Under the Sea (week of July 28th)
Our camp counselors will spend this week exploring the high seas with campers, both above and below the surface of the water! Topics covered include coral reefs, ocean ecosystems, and life as a sailor with hands-on, sensory play.
Sports and Games (week of August 11th)
Energetic campers will learn how to work as a team during this week’s activities by channeling their love of movement into team-based sports and games.
Science (week of August 25th)
Counselors will assist campers as they conduct experiments, learn about the scientific method, and explore STEM concepts in the world around us. Activities will include baking soda volcanoes and more!
